Ordered these for husband and I, both needed to go up a full size than normal. They keep out water unless it goes over the top edge, and insulate when beach walking on cold days. Zero support inside, but a water + sweat resistant insole made all the difference. And your feet WILL sweat!

Wore them for 2 weeks at Cape Hatteras walking on the beach and in the surf. I was looking for tight fitting neoprene shoes that would limit the amount of sand that collected in them. They were perfect and very comfortable. They also held up very well and should be good for many more vacations. Very reasonable price on top of everything.
