Very comfortable, and the wide shaft was wide and comfortable. I have a very hard time in finding boots that fit my legs but I have to say these are a welcome change. I got a wide shaft and a wide size. It was perfect.

I was worried when I purchased these boots as I have wider than normal calves, as there is no shaft circumference listed. I used a tape measure and determined that I have about a 16" calf. These boots fit great. I wear a tall sock or leggings and they are not too tight. They also have more cushion for the pad of your foot than I have found in previous boots. I am very happy with these boots, and would recommend them.
