For most shoes 11 b is the proper size for me. The Sperry 11 S I ordered was a little short.Width was OK.

The shoe was too short inside. I can still wear my older Dunhams, which are 4-E wide. The newer ones - I can't even wear the 6-E wide. Something changed-a lot.

When I first got the shoes I was surprised by the comfort. The shoes, (after broken in) got a little wider. Now they slide just a litlle on my heel. These shoes are great overall and the price is worth it. I recomend these for school shoes, for church, and any walking occasions. overall I rate them a 4 out of 5 stars
