The Rachel is from the Elegant collection by Naot Footwear. This slingback sandal lives up to the elegant name with its adjustable ankle strap and stylish strap design covering the foot. Features our patented footbed which combines a blend of natural latex and light flakes of cork designed to adapt to the shape of the foot, absorb shock and remove moisture. A layer of natural latex sponge padding absorbs shock and provides a caressing softness while walking. Hallux support enables natural hold by the big toe, prevents the foot from slipping forward, and improves the foots hold on the shoe. The elevated center of the insole releases pressure in the joints of the central part of the foot. Arch support enables the weight of the body to be correctly distributed and reduces pressure generated by the spinal column and joints. A deep heel indentation helps the body's balance and maintains the natural shape of the pad of the heel that protects the heel bone.

Fit: This style tends to run narrow. If you have a wide foot, for an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

This is the third pair I have purchased. I wear them all summer. They hold up for miles of walking. The only downside is the elastic band does stretch out faster than I would expect for this brand (which is why I have bought one per summer)

Got these for a week-long work conference. My feet always seem to hurt, but not when wearing these. Expensive but worth every penny!

I now have this sandal in both black and this color...just wish it was available in white but will try another style. I am 66 and my feet need more attention than they used to. Wore the sandals on a trip to Italy where I did lots of walking and they were great. I have a narrow foot and they now have streched a bit (the ankle strap) but I think that's to be expected.
