The Barbados is a unique slide sandal with a feminine cutout design. This style features gore at both sides of the instep for adjustability and a toe thong to help hold your foot in place when walking. Naot's anatomic cork and latex footbed is wrapped in a pampering suede and molds to the shape of the foot with wear. The Classic Collection features a EVA sole. Medium to wide fit.

The shoe fit my foot; however it is a flip flop shoe, and the forward edge of the shoe curves up, and was uncomfortable, nestling under my toes, which are of normal length. I felt a larger shoe would be too big. Unfortunately, I will return this pair.

I bought the Barbados in Biscuit Leather. So happy that they come in a size 35! I like the color more than I thought I would. I have pale skin and these look "nude" in color on me. If they darken, that will be fine, but if not, I still really like the color as is. The fit is good, but the little piece of leather on top of the toe area (between big toe) rubs on the top of my toe. Not causing a blister or irritation, but I just feel that piece and it's annoying sometimes. I would have liked these more without the elastic pieces on the sides of the straps. The top of the sandal, over the instep, is too loose and I have some difficulty with my toes gripping the footbed. I have a high arch and high instep so the fact that I don't need this extra space afforded by the elastic is saying something (that it's not necessary). The footbed is VERY comfortable; softer than Birkenstocks. All said, I have been wearing these a lot and they are comfortable for a lot of walking. I would buy another pair of Naots, but I will pay attention to whether they have elastic and the placement of it to see if I need it.
