These are great shoes. They have good arch support, and are comfortable, well-made, and great-looking. I had been looking for a pair of comfortable flats for a while. A shoe salesmen told me that all Naots had removable insoles, so I tried on the Architect shoe. (I have very high arches, and I look for shoes that I can put an orthotic support into.) I tried size 40 in the store and ended up ordering a 41 online, which fits perfectly. (I'm a 9.5 in US sizes) I also thinks it's a really cute shoe!

I was looking for a shoe to wear when walking all day sightseeing. Although I have yet to walk long distances wearing this shoe I have worn them all day as I was running errands and doing laundry, etc. They were very comfortable, and my feet felt much less tired at the end of the day. I believe they will be one of my all day shoes that I wear as a sightseer. Initially I ordered a 38 as I wear 7/12, but they were too small so I ordered a 39 and added all of the extra cushion insoles provided with the shoes, and now they fit perfectly. They are sturdy leather with patent leather strips giving them a bit of fashion.

I first purchased this shoe in blue. Then I decided I wanted it in every color. I now have it in red, too. It is a nice 'flat' and goes well w/casual or dressy. I like the fact it is packed with extra innersoles so you may adjust the fit to your own foot. It is a tiny bit wide for me in the instep but I have to have the width to accommodate my 'toe box' due to foot surgeries. I really like this shoe and plan to get it in black and brown. Why mess with what works. I cannot put use my orthotic with the Architect because it makes the shoe way too wide in the instep. But the innersoles that come with the shoe help adjust, as I have said. Also, Naot shoe beds are so good I don't have to put in my orthotic, even if wearing any of the Naot shoes all day. That's why I buy them---the cork bed is great! I recommend the shoe but the fit will have to be determined individually.
