I really like these cotton muk-luks. They are just the right amount of warm for me. The suede sole keeps them from being slippery on hard floors and for keeping my feet from slipping when I have my knees up reading in bed.

I'm a gal with small feet that are exceptionally wide - up to EEE in women's shoes WHEN I can find them. As a result, I buy non-dressy men's shoes - athletic, walking, slippers, thongs, etc. & get dress shoes from women's specialty shops.For years I've unsuccesfully tried to find Muk-Luk style slippers to fit me - something I enjoyed as a young child. I'd find something promising, but couldn't get the darned thing on more than 1/3 of the way. I really wanted to find a slipper sock to fit my feet & offer toasty warmth to arthritic ankles.In desperation, I turned to the web, found this website & found a variety of colors & styles in men's sizes. After carefully reading all the reviews for the 317, I felt pretty confident I'd found a winner - in spite of some reviewers saying they were either narrower OR wider than expected. So, I followed my usual pattern of getting a men's 7/8.What a THRILL it was to receive my order & discover a perfect, cozy fit. I felt the slightest snugness - like slipping on a pair of socks. Once on, the Muk-Luks conformed to the shape of my feet & ankles, offering toasty warmth & comfort to both!The Muk-Luks are very well made. The sock portion is thick & luxurious. To my delight, the suede soles are thick & generously well-padded, keeping the foot warmer & allowing me to walk softly.I'm so happy, I'm going to tell my friends about your website! You've also made a customer for life & I'll be buying more in the future!Thanks!!!

I liked the shell material of wool and nylon, polyester insole lining, and the suede leather sole, and approximate 5" height of shell. I did not like the slippers not shaped for the right and left feet. and the sole not extending about a 1/4" up, instead of being a flat sole. Those may be the traditional Muk Luk style. I prefer a modified style that included the above shape and style. For several years I have been looking for slipper socks whose shell was about 6" in height I have purchased others that had shells that were too high, 8-10 inches, but the rest of slippers excellent and had included the design factors mentioned above. LL Bean used to carry the style I liked, but they changed the style and material and I have not been able to find the style I really like..
