This professional extreme-conditions sport boot features fleece lining, stretch-fit topline binding to keep warmth in and cold out, double reinforcements on the instep, heel and Achilles areas and 2mm thermal foam underlay added to the instep area for additional warmth. 8mm CR flex-foam bootie with four-way stretch nylon is 100% waterproof, lightweight and flexible.

Replacement Muck Boots March 04, 2011

I ordered these boots to replace my husband's Muck Woody Max boots which are a men's size 12, so I ordered these Arctic boots in a men's 12. They are visually a good inch smaller than the Woody Max & the size 13 is not available in this style. Forced to exchange these for another style, but Muck boots are by far the best waterproof boots he has ever owned- warm & dry!!!

The boots are great - they fit snuggly on my calves without being too tight, and feel surprisingly cushiony. There will be no need for a "break in" period, and they are fabulously warm. They feel a smidge big, but as of yet, I have not worn them with the wool socks I would most likely have on with them, and I think with thick socks they will be about perfect. They are rated from below zero temperatures to 40 degrees above, so they will be great for super cold temps now, but also icy melt in the spring. I would definitely recommend them.
