I bought these since I have a wide and "fat" foot. They took a little while to break in, but they are a little more substantial shoe. I would prefer that the sole itself had more padding, but the insert is soft, and the shoes are comfortable.

I really like this shoe I will try another style. The day I wore them I had re injured my foot and did not believe I would be able to walk in shoes, but this shoe did more than just abled me to walk it allowed me to walk comfortably the whole night at a Blues Concert
