Finding a shoe in my size 16 6E is often an exercise. But that was not the case of my purchase of the Mt. Emey 9912. I made the mistake of ordering a size longer than what I needed (old habits die hard)and found the shoes were too big! After returning them and ordering the correct size, they arrived in about three days. They fit great with one very minor exception. The elastic gore is slightly too tight for my high instep, but I am sure that the elastic will stretch as I wear them.
Wears this shoe: I alternate them with my pair of black shoes.

After a full lifetime with wide flat feet complicated by bunions I found this shoe to be a delight. I can count on one hand the number of shoes I have had that were comfortable over many years and many more dollars and I am 62 years old. This shoe feels like they were custom made for me right out of the box.

I have wide flat feet. It's very difficult for me to find shoes with my exact sizing. Usually I have to compromise and settle for not-so-nice styling and/or slightly too long shoe to accomodate my feet. This shoe fits true to size -- and most importantly true to me.

My husband has a high instep, 6E width foot. It is very difficult to find stylish, comfortable, reasonably priced shoes to suit his needs. I search the Web for his shoes, and that is also a challenge. We were skeptical at first since we had never heard of Mt. Emey shoes. He is now convinced of the comfort and value of this shoe. I am certain he will be a repeat customer.
