I like that the shoe is roomy and does not rub my foot at any point. However, I am a 2X width, not a 3X. The shoe's width jumps from D to 3X. I feel that they are a bit wide. With the extra width and the double thickness of the velcro strap, they look especially wide on my foot. I also don't like velcro straps. I would prefer a single layer of strap and a buckle. Velcro wears out faster than the shoe. My feet are not only wide, but I also have a high instep. That makes it hard for me to find shoes that I can wear. Out of the 4 different shoes that I tried, these were the ones I chose for the comfort I need. I still need another insole to cushion my feet since I stand on marble floors for over 6 hours when I wear the shoes.

I bought this shoe after reading all the comments and like it pretty much. It is a cute shoe with the cutout on the top adding that extra pizzazz I like. I did not like the fact that they rubbed a blister on my foot at the strap on the inside of my left foot. I wore them for the first time to an event and had to take them off about half way through because of the blister and go barefoot. I have worn them a few times since and they are still making a blister but I am hoping they will be better when they are broken in. I do think they are a cute shoe and not real boxy looking as som said. I think they are a cute Mary Jane. I would recommend them and most probably buy them again but break them in first. I do think they are cute!

It is amazing that this shoe can feel so supportive yet be so lightweight!It is very attractive, yet fits really well and I can use my custom orthotic inserts with it.It is such a great thing to find a website with so many attractive shoes for the hard to fit.I have a BIG foot - 11W.I liked this shoe so well that I purchased it in black for all year and beige for Spring/Summer.It is very casual yet could work for a dressy occasion for those who cannot wear higher heels and really dressy shoes.A real winner and it comes in so many colors you could match almost anything!

I need to wear orthotics, and this shoe required that I cut down the width on the orthotics a little, but with them the shoe feels fine. I liked the extra inserts that came with the shoes. I may be able to use a pair of those instead of orthotics after I have had surgery on my foot.
Wears this shoe: I bought them for dress but could wear them for casual as well.
