Bought these for my daughter , she is 11. I usually get a longer shoe to compensate for her braces, but because the width accomodates the big AFO's she wears I could have gottan a smaller size. The trouble is she is like a size 13 with no braces and 5 seems to be the next option, so they are too long but the width is great!

Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked
The shoes are great looking and are made very well; however, they feel a bit snug in the width and after a couple of hours have caused my feet fo cramp and feel uncomfortable. Nothing major but enough to disappoint me.

The reviewer before is right when she said the strap is too thick. I also ordered these and the straps are almost twice the width than the shoes in the picture. But I wear these almost everyday. I ordered the size 7 7E (EEEEEEE). I need to buy another pair soon because the heel is worn down. I wish there were shoes with some treads or a more durable sole/heel. I tried wearing these with an extra insole (a third insole) but that gave me a blister near my Achilles tendon. The Velcro is too thick and has caught and snagged and tore out hems of several pants and a long skirt. The velcro need to be thinned out and bordered by leather so it doesn't catch on clothes.

I bought these shoes for work and walking around on vacations. When they I arrived I was dismayed by the inflexibility of the sole, but they turned out to be very comfortable. I was able to wear them walking around Las Vegas without getting sore feet. The only problem I had was the back of the shoe is a little high and gave me a blister. Also, the staps are a little bulky for a nice women's shoe.
