I first thought that the 9e would be too wide - it's not, and it's excellent for swollen feet. The shoe is light as a feather.

Have a true 9E wide foot. Comfort and fit get high marks. Lether fit and stitching get high marks. Rivits on speed hooks worked loose and some fell out within one week of use. I have reset the remaining rivits and replaced the lost ones. At 2 weeks of use one of the lower speed hooks has snaped off at the bend. Shoe still fits well without using the lowest speed hook pair. Out of the box reset all rivits and shoe should be great.

I broke my heels back in December 2006 which requires me to wear thick inner soles and a brace on both feet. The shoe has plenty of room for both. Its made of high grade leather and soles. They are very comfortable I would buy them again.
