This thong sandal has a full grain leather upper, a contoured footbed, and a non slip rubber outsole. Moszkito Shoes provide excellent arch support. They prevent foot fatigue, support body alignment, and the orthotic arch will hold its shape providing support for the life of the sandal. Medium heel cup and toe bars help to stabilize the foot and ankle for balance, heel cup prevents heel pain, and the toe bar helps relax your feet. Moszkito molded outsoles help create traction stability and long lasting wear on all types of surfaces. The full grain leather upper provides natural breathability and prevents odor-causing bacteria.

I have plantar fasciitis and a high arch. These shoes are the best! I have both colors in the wedge. I would like to see a dark brown color as well. I hope they never quit making these!

I love this shoe! I have high arches which are causing pain in the ball of my feet and foot cramps when I go to sleep. My podiatrist recommended I wear Mozskitos brand. The first 2-3 days I experienced some discomfort in my arches until my feet adjusted. Thereafter, my foot pain has diminished. As long as I wear the Moszkitos my feet feel great. I wear them ALL the time, everywhere. I am on my third pair and will continue to buy them. I find them quite stylish and get several compliments. I wish they carried selections for for winter wear.
Wears this shoe: All the time, including while I do housework.

I suffer from severe overpronation and I'm guilty of not wearing proper footwear because I'm not a fan of the way 99% of orthotic sandals look. In the summer I normally live in inexpensive flip flops that are pretty, covered in bling, etc. I found these online (along with the non-wedge style) and decided to try them ... and I'm thrilled! They are nice looking, super comfortable and offer great arch support.

I have been wearing this style sandal from Moszkito for five years because the arches of my feet had started to cause me alot of pain. These sandals are a godsend! No more pain and so comfortable! They used to come in several colors, but now only in brown or black. I have all the colors Moszkito used to sell and take care to rotate the use of them so as to last longer. However, I wear the black ones every single day around the house and even in the winter I wear them with toe socks to accommodate the thong feature. I don't know what I will do if this sandal is discontinued, so I hope Moszkito makes it for a long time to come. There are other orthotic sandals on the market, but these are by far the most comfortable....I know because I wasted alot of money trying several pairs until I found the Archy Wedge!! I highly recommend this sandal and the tooled leather design is very attractive. I get alot of compliments them, too! Oh, and one more thing, the arched area of the shoe holds up very well....even with everyday use.
Wears this shoe: 90 of the time.
