Product Description (Men's Montrail Rockridge)

The Rockridge is a low-profile, neutral shoe with outstanding cushioning, perfect for dirt, rock, or road if that's your style. It features the VEL last designed specifically for trail runners with its medium-volume fit and roomy toe box. The outsole has been optimized for moderate to technical trail conditions with deflecting lugs for cushioning and perimeter digging lugs for traction up and down hills.

Only using it for walking but very pleased with performance in stability and comfort. Surprisingly stays dry in substantial rain that I have experienced recently.

Excellent shoes. Very grippy sole and so far good quality. My only complaint is they seem to run a tad narrow in the forefoot. I would buy them again (maybe ordering a size wider) and I would definitely recommend them. A note though, they are more for single track trails and mud etc rather than hard pack and roads - the bottom is built for traction on messy terrain more than roads.
