I bought two of these to replace a couple of the previous versions that were worn out from heavy use while running and playing racquetball and soccer. It's a great compression base layer (I wear a tech tee over it), but unlike other products it allows for more ventilation because of well-placed open mesh.

I purchased these in January for my first full marathon and they worked like a dream. I could really feel the compression and I believe they helped me to get across the finish line. Now I can't wait to take these tights to my next race! I would recommend that you purchase using the sizing chart. I am a middle-of-the-road Medium and that's what I bought. Just remember they are extremely difficult to put on the first time (and I didn't try them until the day before my race). But they do get easier to take on and take off and once they're on, you just feel like everything is sucked in. Minimal jiggling over 26.2 miles! I really liked the capri length - I didn't want full tights, but wanted more coverage than shorts. These were perfect in every way. They're expensive, but worth every penny when you consider their usefulness.
