I got these for my 7 year old daughter. She is wearing them w/out socks and she loves them. The buckskin is very soft which she likes. Not really any arch support but it hasn't bothered her.

These are the cutest shoes for children. They just love them, they are so comfortable. I have been buying them for my son each year. When he grows out of one size he asks to have the next size.
