These run VERY narrow. The length is accurate but they are way too tight. My foot is not wide but I can't even wear a normal sock with them. I'm hoping they'll stretch out!

My true size is 9.5 medium/wide and I bought size 9 as was recommended in tan and dusty brown and I like both colours and they fit just fine. The boot comes to just below my knee. It is not a quick off, quick on boot but not that bad in fact I find the process of putting them on kind of a fun ritual. The initial lacing up was hindered on one tan boot because the hole wasn't punched through completely and the holes going through two layers of suede weren't lined up but it's not the end of the world, it all works out. The foot bed is soft with not a huge amount of support but probably fine for undemanding activity. I'm looking forward to wearing them with jean skirts, a button front longer skirt and skinny jeans.

This Minnetonka suede boot is good looking. The write-up recommends you buy a half size larger than normal. I would do that only if your shoe width is medium to wide. I wear a size 10AAA and although the boot is a medium width, it wasn't way too wide on me even at the size 10 that I purchased.It got only 4 stars for two reasons:1. The thin crepe outsole is nice if you want to wear these outside the house, but they really don't offer any cushioning to the sole of the boot. I put in a pair of thickly cushioned insoles and it made the boot much more comfortable.2. The picture on the site doesn't do this boot justice as they are not a faded looking black. They are VERY black and that black comes off on anything that you are wearing on your feet, i.e.socks. Plus the black color comes off onto the inside hem of whatever pants you wear with them.
Wears this shoe: I wear them around the house.
