The Minnetonka Pug Boots are your basic shearling sheepskin boots. The foot tends to roll off the side of the Minnetonka soles. The shaft on the Minnetonkas are wide and are easy to tuck pants in. All-in-all I like the Minnetonka boots and they are warm and comfortable walking in the snow.

I ordered a mens boot as I am a woman with wide feet and calves. This gives just a little more room than women's sizes. I wear a women's 8, and a men's 7 fits perfectly. The boot is extremely comfortable, and easy to get on and off. This is a great boot for Tennesse winters which vary in temperatures from one day to the next.

I wear mens as I have wide feet and large ankles. The natural sheepskin keeps feet the perfect temperature and does not make them perspire as you move from cold to warmer indoor environments, just wear with bare feet. I have the 14" and wear them with leggings on colder days in the house so I can keep the thermometer down. I wear the shorter version 9" on warmer days and with wide leg trousers. Minnetonkas are the best !
Wears this shoe: all winter long and I plan to wear them in the spring too
