Our family loves this slipper. They are cool in summer, and extremely warm in winter. The fact that the sole is a composite material makes the slipper extremely safe for the wearer. I purchased this pair of slippers for my mother to make sure she doesn't "slide" down the steps. However, she likes them for the warmth.

Even though I live in Atlanta, my feet get cold which makes me cold all over. I like this bootie because of the warmth. With the hard sole I can run out to mailbox without changing shoes. These are not quite as sturdy as the old black Minnetonka bootie but just as warm. These are big enough (size 8)I can wear thick fuzzy socks with them. When I got these new sand color booties I threw out the old sturdy, warm, good looking black Minnetonkas because they were making my feet black from the dyed shearling. These booties are worth every penny I paid for them.
Wears this shoe: I slip right into them as I get out of bed, Sometimes I wear all day.

After years of comfort from my former, well-worn sheepskin slippers, I was hesitant to give them up. When the snow and rain leaked in through the holes I decided it was time to find a new pair! My new Minnetonkas are exactly as described. They fit snuggly and conform to the shape of my foot. The fleece wicks away moisture and keeps my feet warm and dry, even on brief wintery trips outside for the mail and newspaper. They arrived in a timely manner with no problem.
