Every winter, my feet and ankles freeze even though I wear heavy socks, shoes, and leg warmers around the house. These slippers are nice and warm, but they "breathe" so my feet never sweat. The entire inside including insoles are lined with shearling/fur, plus the soles have some cushioning and a textured bottom, making these a warm, comfortable pair of slipper/shoes. I wear these slippers indoors only, since sheepskin isn't weather proof, but they look like a nice pair of boots, instead of house slippers.

These slippers are exactly what I'd been looking for for some time. They come up around my ankle enough to keep me warm yet air circulate. I'm going to order some for my daughter too.

These slippers are amazing. I am very glad that I bought them. They keep my feet warm and have a nice firm bottom so that if I step outside, my feet do not get cold or wet. I live in Wisconsin, and it can get frigidly cold here, so I am grateful that I bought these slippers. But I also wear them in summer because we have central air and hardwood floors. You can wear them with or without socks...I wear mine with socks because the black dye from the skeepskin on the inside of the slippers will turn your toenails black. If you don't want this, don't buy the black slippers. My partner has the brown moccasins with white sheepskin, and doesn't have this problem.
