Deerskin is the absolutely the softest leather so this moc is very light, breathes, and is superbly comfortable. Don't be mistaken: it's truly a slipper, not a shoe - no support and no outsole. Bottom is one layer of fragile deerskin that absorbs moisture. After two years of constant wear on my first pair, the insole (one layer of fabric covered foam) got a bit stinky - it's glued in. But you will love the Thunderbird moc on your feet!

I have been wearing these mocs for slippers for years. They are so soft and comfy that I am willing to buy 2 pair a year so that when they wear out I have a stand-by pair waiting to replace the old ones. Because they don't have a hard sole they wear out on the bottom faster but this is also what makes them so comfy.
Wears this shoe: As soon as I walk in the door at home, probably why I go thru 2 pair a year.
