The specially designed sole gives excellent traction and the nubs and heel bumper help cushion and protect the heel against wear and tear. The combination of ultra soft leather and cushioned insole makes this a very comfortable shoe for walking.

Fit: This style tends to run small. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size larger than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7, we recommend purchasing a size 7 1/2.

I bought these shoes in August 2012. I got them and within a few weeks the sole on the bottom had worn all the way to the leather on the shoe. I've had them for 6 months. I give them another 3 months and they will be worn slam out. I would go with a shoe that has the double bottom instead of the dots on the bottom. They wear out very fast. Other than that, I am very pleased with the shoe.

I've been wearing these driving moccasins for six or seven years, and as the title suggests, I'm now on my third pair.Many people compare these to a similar and much more expensive shoe made by another manufacturer. I've tried both and while the Minnetonkas are made of a tougher leather and thus a little harder to break in, they last longer and take more punishment. Once they're broken in they're very comfortable.I wear mine constantly and when polished up they look really good. Eventually though, the toe wears out and it's time to replace them. I've also found that either my foot is getting larger or the shoe is getting smaller, because this pair is 1/2 size larger than I usually wear. However, they fit well.

leather very stiff will require many months to break in,the heal rides on my bone, hoping it will loosen up.
