I got these mocs to replace a similar pair I'd just about worn into the ground. I like the rough suede feel which is a bit more "grippy" than smooth leather as well as softer. It's very comfortable and grips well on stairs, etc. Because of the roughness, though, I can't just step into them, I have to hold the shoe. Maybe they will get smoother over time.They seem well made with cushioned insoles and outsoles sturdy enough for trips to the back yard or taking out the trash. I'd also bring them for actual camping trips; just haven't had one yet.

I like to be barefoot, but sometimes that isn't practical. These are the closest thing to be barefoot -aside from sandals , that don't fit in every where.
Wears this shoe: Outdoors- I use the soft sole model indoors.

Once these extremely comfy shoes go on in the morning, they don't come off until the end of the day. I'm glad I bought these shoes for him. It's hard to find a durable and comfortable casual shoe for someone who is a size 11 EE.

My new mocs were tight (as expected) when they arrived. They seemed small - but make sure you take the stuffing out of the toe first!! Now as I've worn them, they have loosened up but still seem ever so slightly too narrow and too "short". If I were to buy again, I'd still get the same width (wide as that's the widest), but I'd go a half size bigger.
