Good shoe overall with a great gripping sole, what you would expect from Michelin. I just wont be able to wear them as much as I thought, because I do a lot of welding and torch cutting and I dont feel they would hold up as long as an all leather shoe would in the same work conditions. However when not doing that type of work I wear them and I have no complaints. Fits true to size.
Wears this shoe: few times a week at shipyard 8-12 hrs a day

I have a high arch and wide foot so it is difficult for me to buy a comfortable boot or shoe off the shelf and particularly by mail. This boot, although a little heavy has a comfortable fit in the arch and the metatarsal guard is an added bonus along with the steel toe. The sole is somewhat inflexible, so one won't be doing much squating with these on, but they are a comfortable safe work boot.
