The Passports are my sixth pair of Merrells. They did not disappoint. I usually only buy shoes once a year and during that year I put them through hell. I wear them everyday work and play. I work as a chef so.. A lot of walking.. standing on hard concrete and tile for ten..twelve hours a day with no sore feet or back. The leather stood up great even though they are subjected to horrible conditions( wet, cold, oil, sauces, various animal by-products, flour, rouxs. YES it can be disgusting at times, yet they took it and I can throw a little bit of polish on them and they look brand new! After a year and a half of abuse and torture the soles finally wore out.. So I'm looking for pair number 7.

These shoes are great for dressing up or down. My wife loves the way they look and I appreciate the comfort. I bought these for wearing to and from work, but find I'm wearing them for casual wear as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

The first time I wore these shoes I knew they were the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn and I'm 64 years old and own a lot of comfortable shoes. I haven't worn anything else since I bought these shoes.
