I ordered it because I wanted a shoe I could wear barefoot in summer. I loved the look of the shoe and the fit was fine. When I walked in it, however, i found that the front edge of the tongue where it was attached to the shoe scratched the top of my foot. Feeling it with my nand, I found that edge to be poorly attached. That seam should be covered and smooth. I didn't think it was a good bet to wear without socks.

These shoes are so comfortable. I have another pair of Merrell barefoot shoes, but these are just a bit more supportive. I can walk all over town in these shoes.
Wears this shoe: I wear these with casual pants around town.

As a long-time fan of Merrell shoes, I bought these for comfort to wear on a warm weather family vacation that included lots and lots of walking... zoos, amusement parks, etc. I wanted a lightweight leather barefoot shoe that would cover my foot but not rub or get hot. Previous reviews were all very positive, and I have had great experiences with my pace gloves, sundial sandals, lorelei zips. Never before had I a merrell shoe start to fall apart on day two. Half way through the zoo, the tape-like lining by the pinky toes started to bunch up and peel away, making it rub against my toes and cause discomfort. Now it will not lay flat and I only wear them to run to the store or for driving. Big disappointment.
Wears this shoe: Running to store, driving...short walks.

I bought these shoes because I am training for my first 5K. First, they weigh nothing! I put them on and hopped on the treadmill...LOVE!!! Great arch support and super comfortable!!! I did not even have to break them in first. Not only are they super comfortable, they are CUTE!! I bought the yellow and pink and absolutely love them!!! No complaints at all.
