I bought this boot because the only other pair of Merrell's I've had lasted a long time. I'm a bit of a snow novice but like the easy on & off. I ordered the regular size I get when wearing socks & had to exhange for 1/2 size larger...so they seem to run a bit small. I think they are going to be a great all around winter boot.
Wears this shoe: anytime it snows..walking the dog...errands...working outside

I bought these to replace my favorite Sporto winter boots. They looked about the same size but a little more rugged. Unfortunately, they come up higher on the ankle than I realized and are VERY stiff and a bit heavy. I will continue to wear these, but am still searching for a great boot to wear while running errands. These really are awesome boots, but a bit pricey for something I can't wear all of the time.
Warm and easy to put on.

I like this boot because it is warm and easy to take on and off. It is comfortable and the sole has great gripping tread on icy days.

Bought as an easy slip-on boot to go out and shovel or walking around in the snow. Great boot, stream-lined look with Vibram sole- Similar to a pair of Merrell day-hikers I have. That's how I selected the size. Also, very nice and warm.

These boots are great. I purchased them primarily for winter use as well as walking the dog. They are very comfortable and have very good traction. They are also very warm, as I recently was out with my dog for over an hour in the -10 degree weather (not including windchill), and my toes felt fine. The zipper makes it very easy to slide on and off. Warning: make sure the tab of the zipper is facing downward if you own them; if you leave them up, then the zipper will not hold. You might think the zipper is defective then, but it really is not. I would definitely recommend these to everyone.
