I needed a sandal that gave my foot good support, was adjustable, and was waterproof. This sandal fit the bill, and I like it. The orange trim made it look less masculine (I'm female). It is a little stiff around the ankle, but not bad.
Wears this shoe: When going to the beach or hiking where I will be crossing rivers.

I have a pair of Merrel's that are about 5 years old. I still use them more than any other shoe. The soles are nearly gone, but the comfort is remarkable. I've purchased two models since and they are not the same quality. I have padded the straps with buckskin, and that helps the chaffing. This last pair is a little longer than expected, but will be used.

Great shoe with the exception of the heal strap.The velcro on the heel straps will not stay together even when used in normal walking. Once they get wet you might as well take them off. Bad design on the part of the heel strap. Otherwise a great shoe.

I've been looking for a great all purpose sandal. I found it with these. Great sole, great fit with no pressure points, easy on and off, and I can get it wet and not worry. Looks good enough to wear to the country club yet I can use it in the sand and water and then clean it up and it is as good as new.
