Not a good shoe for service industry
June 17, 2007
Reviewer: Bartender/Prep cook from Washington DC
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt wider than marked this shoe is true to size and quite comfortable to be in when on your feet for more than 8 hours a day. Unfortunately, if you work in the service industry, stay away from wet areas. This shoe is about as "non-slip" as a cold stick of butter on a hot pan. I work in the restaurant industry and being behind the bar or in the kitchen is risky with these "non-slip" service oriented shoes. Wears this shoe: Work
Men's Merrell Topo Oxford Pro M Review
January 12, 2007
Reviewer: Anonymous from Wash DC Metro Area
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I like the positive heel that Merrell provides. It helps alleviate calf & shin muscle strain I experience with shoes that have neutral or negative heels. Also, I really enjoy the arch support and toe box in the Merrells; makes for a much more comfortable shoe. Although the Topo Oxford Pro M isn't as dressy as an equivalent Rockport shoe, I believe for me it's a better fit and therefore better shoe for my feet, ankles and legs. Wears this shoe: I wear this shoe as a dress shoe for work.

My Merrell Topo Oxford Shoes
May 17, 2006
Reviewer: Richard L. Johnson from Chicago, IL
Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I'm on my feet for five hours a day and was told Merrell had the most comfortable shoe made. I have worn mine for several weeks now and I am very satisfied with the comfort. The style is okay, but I bought the Topo's for comfort, not looks. The size is very true. The width is generous. Wears this shoe: At work during the day
