A moc that invites indulgence. Elastic side gores make for easy entry into a full grain leather upper lined with smooth pigskin. Opanka hand-stitched construction at the forefoot deeply seats the foot over the wildly finned Tetra II™ sole for moccasin-like flex and feel.
Board lasted construction. Full grain leather upper. Smooth pig skin lining. Elastic gore insert. Lycra, neoprene inserts.
4.5mm anatomical antibacterial Cita-XY™ Agion™ footbed. Nylon 6.6 injection molded arch shank. Q-Form polyurethane Merrell Air Cushion midsole.

The perfect fit

My challenge was to find a shoe I could wear for city walking (i.e., on concrete) and travelling (i.e., easy to slip off), that was both dressy and comfortable. This is the shoe! I walked through several airports and then all over London - no breaking in period - and my feet and knees never ached, I never developed blisters, and the shoes maintained their new look. Only two words of caution,the back is a tad high, so depending on your ankle shape, it may rub a bit when it's brand new. Being leather, they do get quite hot...I found myself slipping them off occasionally just to cool my feet.

This shoe fit like a glove. It was instantly comfortable. The only slight draw back is when the tread on the bottom is wet and on certain floor types, they can be a little slippery.

The Merrell Tetra Fling shoes are truly comfortable and lightweight. These are my first pair of Merrell shoes and I've always heard great things about their comfort. It's amazing, as soon I put them on I was surprised on how comfortable they were so fast, and will buy Merrell shoes again. Also, these shoes fit true to size. I highly recommend these shoes, you will not be disappointed!

I bought these shoes because two years ago I was barely able to walk because of a bone spur on my heel. I tried Merrill's because of the groove in the back of the heel, thinking that maybe it would take the pressure off of my heel. It did and I was able to walk normally without pain after about a week. I now own at least five pair of Merrill shoes and I recommend them to anyone with problem feet.
Wears this shoe: All the time. I wear no other shoes but Merrill.
You can't beat Merrill shoes for comfort!

I bought this shoe in black because I was changing jobs from L&D nurse to nursing instructor. 35 years of nursing has taken its toll on my feet. I needed a shoe that was dressy looking and would still feel comfortable after being on my feet for hours. I had previously worn Jungle Mocs and been very impressed with their comfort, so I decided to take a chance on this style of Merrill's, and I wasn't disappointed. They were comfortable from the first moment I put them on. I love them!
