Leather upper is lined with Thinsulate® and Polartec® and is secured with elastic toggle closures. Merrell Spirit Snow Flake™ sole grips as good as it looks.

My 7-year old daughter loves these boots (in purple plaid and pink plaid) and wears them often to school with skirts and with pants tucked into them. They ran a little small (maybe because of the fleece inside), and while the toggles sometimes come undone, it hasn't been a problem. They are her absolute favorite winter shoes.

I bought a pair for myself 2 years ago and I never want to take them off. I purchased a pair for my 4 yr. old daughter and she loves wearing hers also, she really does not like boots but will wear these with no problem.
