I was not a hi-top fan, but these are the exception. They're extremely warm, comfortable, and the best part for me is that they slip on very easily! Different material socks in some boots and shoes make it hard to get foot in. The material inside these allows you to slide your foot right in and laces up quickly. The treaded bottom is virtually no-slip, and it gives excellent traction in snow! If you want warmth and comfort but not a full length boot, this shoe is a great choice!

Bought these for winterwork and hiking last year. I wore them between October and May. Good to at least minus 28 degrees F if you are moving, and not too hot up to about 30F. They are fully waterproof and light. However, the plastic on lower side split on the hidden seam the other day, so I only got about a year's use out of them.
