Product Description (Women's Merrell Siren Ventilator)
In the interest of durability and support, with this Siren we stopped just short of nothing but net. But a breathable mesh upper and mesh lining go with the flow. Thin, sculpted leather strapping provide lightweight but effective soft buttressing. Merrell's proprietary combination of women-specific Q-Form™ alignment in an Air Cushion® midsole smooths out footstrike and improves stride efficiency.
Slip lasted construction. Full Grain, synthetic leather and breathable mesh upper. Breathable mesh lining.
TPU injection molded heel. 4.5mm anatomical footbed. Nylon 6.6 injection molded arch shank. Q-Form™ triple density compression molded EVA footframe.
Air Cushion® midsole. Vibram® Siren™ sole/sticky rubber.

incorrect sizing

This shoe is attractive and initially comfortable, but after buying and wearing a pair that is a half size larger than my regular shoe size, I developed an excruciating pain in the ball of my right foot. I will try them one more time, but expect that I will have to donate them to Good Will.

This shoe looks really nice. I just got them and they fit true-to-size or just a touch smaller than size, but not to the point of returning them. I plan to wear them walking around Italy and they seem to have good traction.

This shoe is extremely comfortable. It's lightweight, yet gives excellent support. Due to past injuries, I sometimes experience foot/ankle/knee pain which can make walking painful. This shoe keeps me well aligned, and walking has been pain free. It looks kind of nifty, too.
Wears this shoe: Daily informal activities/walking. Also during light workouts.

I just love these shoes. They were a little heavier than I expected in terms of the style (I was looking for a lighter summer shoe), but they are still so very comfortable. I have fallen arches and my feet pronate quite a bit so I use an insert for extra arch support.
