These sandals are very comfortable. Love the support they give when walking. Bought them a week before going to South Africa. Had absolutely no problems. Didn't need to break them in. Do think they run on the small side. Although they fit, they could have been a little roomier at the toes.

I needed a sturdier Sandal for a trip we are taking to the Southwest. I always heard great things about Merrells and they certainly were right.No breaking in they were perfect the first time on.

I really like the sandals. They are extremely comfortable and offer the support I need due to heel issues. So far they have proven to be quite durable (I wore them every day during a recent trip to Maine, but I did not get them wet as I don't think they are for that purpose). The style/design is also a bit feminine, which I like. I can wear them a little dressy or not, and I would highly recommend them.
