Backup for any expedition that takes you over variable terrain, this steadfast trip support stabilizes your every step, with pronation-controlling Split™ heel technology, an external counter for rollover prevention and a durable cushioning platform - all wrapped into leather uppers constructed via comfort-driven Strobel flexible construction. This shoe has a nubuck and pig suede upper with Strobel construction for flexibility, a bellows tongue to keep out debris, an abrasion resistant rubber toe cap, an Aegis® Anti-microbial treated lining, an external counter, an Ortholite® anatomical footbed, a molded nylon arch shank, a compression molded EVA footframe, a Split™ Technology heel with dual density EVA to absorb shock and prevent over-pronation, a Merrell Air Cushion in the heel for shock absorption and stability, and a Vibram® Refuge TC5+ Rubber outsole with a 5mm lug depth.

Loved the shoes however at the 90 day point came apart on the top of shoe. You would think these shoes should last longer than 90 days. Very disappointed at quality.

These shoes look great and better than that my husband says they feel great! He has had a hard time finding comfortable shoes since he has a heal spur that bothers him if he stays on his feet.
