I loved Merrell in the past because they were comfortable from day 1, and the Radius is no different. I can count on Merrell's size 11 shoes to fit perfectly whereas most other brands run a little small.

I love the supportive feel of the shoe. There are no seams, lumps or bumps on the inside to irritate my feet. The tread pattern gives gret traction. I know from experience with a previous Merrell shoe similar to the Radius that these shoes will feel great for many months and wear like iron.

I needed a shoe for walking our dog in the woods, up and down hills and over rough tree roots. I have a bad foot, spoiled by surgery, so shoe stiffness and a good treat were priorities for me. The Merrell Radius is very stiff, but not so stiff that it's uncomfortable, so my foot is well supported. It also has a heavy tread that's good on wet leaves, etc.
