Bought for my husband. They are really waterproof, it's crazy since they don't look like they would be. Nice fit and very comfortable he says.

Only worn the shoes a few times so far, but that includes 6-7 short(3-5 miles)hikes.I have not been disappointed.I wanted a lightweight waterproof hiker to wear not just on mountain trails, but as a casual shoe walking around London and Bavaria this fall and around town here in Colorado.

I felt the shoe was well made, and I like the feel. I agree with other reviewers that they are a little on the hot side, but since I was aware of it before purchase, it doesn't detract from my expectations. I would recommend these shoes. I haven't worn them hiking yet, but after wearing them for extended periods breaking them in, I feel they should perform well.

I like the look and feel of the shoe quite a bit initially. My only complaint is that they feel a bit narrow on the pinkie toe area. It took a good two weeks of breaking them in before they began to feel ok up there.I've had 2 other pairs of Merrell's in size 10 and did not have the same problem.Great cushion when walking around work and such. Wore them in pouring rain as well - feet stayed dry.
Wears this shoe: Daily shoe at work and on weekends.

I like having a low-cut "waterproof" outdoor shoe. Unfortunately, the laces frequently come untied. It is not the most stable platform, either.
