These are a nice and airy shoe with a very comfortable foot bed to support anyone who is on their feet all day long. I am particularly happy with the rubberized toe covering that helps me prevent scuffing of the leather. This shoe is best suited to be worn with trouser socks, as I found that thicker socks caused the shoes to be too tight, and caused the socks to creep down. All in all I am happy with the shoes, I do wish they were slightly larger, with a more ample toe box.

I love the look of this shoe and have received many compliments. There is only one negative and that is when I first put on the shoe it feels too narrow at the toe/top, but as I continue to wear them I don't even notice the snugness anymore! Very comfortable overall. Nice support and the heel height is perfect for me. Oh, and one other thing! I've had these a few weeks and have worn them often but still get a whiff of that leather! I've never had a pair of shoes before when upon opening the box, my apartment continued to smell of the shoe leather for about a week (granted I'm in a small apartment, but...)!! No question about it, that's bona-fide leather! Overall I really love this shoe, and I'm thinking about getting them in black.

They are not cute or fashionable, but the comfort they provide is unsurpassed. At times I have to stand for long periods to lecture, with my Merrells I can do that and not have back pain or sore feet at the end of the day.
