Merrell phaser April 05, 2012 Reviewer: T Shea from Oshkosh Wi Shoe Size: Felt true to size Love these boots, had a pair that got wrecked being too close to the campfire. I had to get another pair as these are the most comfortable boots I've ever worn. Wears this shoe: hiking, camping

Great feel so far....narrow foot review April 04, 2012 Reviewer: Keith from Ohio and points between Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width Narrow big foot (sasquatch) - tried several brands - The Merrell's laced well and hiked in Canadian Rockies first time with crampons. Very comfortable. Great boot. Only design points might be they are a bit heavier than others. Also, a bit concerned about whether the nylon/cloth tie high on the boot will hold up or wear down. It does help getting the boot laced up better. Wears this shoe: Hiking, Walking

April 03, 2012 Reviewer: Steve from Berlin, MA Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt narrower than marked I bought these boots mainly for work. They're extremely comfortable. I have narrow feet/heels and these shoes fit perfectly. My heels stay locked in place when walking. My feet do sweat a lot in warmer weather even with thin socks but they fit my narrow feet like a glove!! Wears this shoe: Construction work.

Merrell Phaser Peak January 26, 2012 Reviewer: JoeMc from Philly Shoe Size: Felt true to size Shoe Width: Felt true to width I researched a lot of boots before I bought these. Almost all had equal pros and cons so it was really difficult to assess them. Some people hated these and some loved them. I ended up buying these because a friend highly recommended them. They took about 3 miles of walking to break in with very little discomfort. The size was true to fit. There is practically no padding on the soles so I immediately put insoles in them. I would have done this anyway. I use sting free and really like them. I wear them 7 days a week for outdoor work and so far I have no complaints....except one, the shoe laces that come with them will not stay tied no matter what. I can triple knot these babies and they still come undone. They must be made by Houdini. Other than that they are warm and dry but it's only been a month of wear. If I wear them indoors for prolonged periods of time my feet do tend to overheat. Wears this shoe: every day , all day
