Mangroves, Mayan ruins, or Main Street, the Olmec gives you trip support and comfort to take in the sights sunrise to sunset. Easy-flexing Strobel construction gets support from an arch shank, while an Air Cushion in the heel absorbs shock and keeps your foot centered. Durable, rich full grain leather uppers are first class, with a recycled anti-microbial mesh lining to clear the air.
This slip-on shoe has a full grain leather upper with Strobel construction for flexibility and comfort, a recycled mesh lining with an Aegis® anti-microbial treatment, an Ortholite#&174; anatomical footbed, a molded nylon arch shank, an EVA midsole with a Merrell Air Cushion in the heel for shock absorption and stability, and a Vibram® TC5+ rubber outsole with a 5 mm sole lug depth.

real nice shoe-great support-can wear it all day with no problem-I'm basically have little to no instep so I need a shoe with great support. Merrell shoes offer this as I own several pairs of this brand and have had no problems w/any of them.

I purchased this shoe for my new son-in-law and this is his first pair of Merrells! Shoe color matched picture on website, typical Merrell quality as expected. SIL was surprised by comfort and no break in needed, he has been wearing them daily and now plans to buy more Merrells.

I am sort of a shoe nut, and I've tried a lot of different shoes and boots of all kinds. These Merrell's are the all-around best shoes of any kind I've ever had, by quite a bit. My brother told me they were great, but I didn't expect they'd be this good. Snug, secure, supportive, lightweight and the most solid, nice, good, comfortable shoes ever. Just excellent. Where have they been all my life?!
Wears this shoe: Whenever I dont have to wear a suit and tie.

I've found these to be superior to the Jungle Moc, which I wore out quickly. Better arch support and better wearing Vibram sole. Will keep buying as long as they're available.

I tried the Jungle Moc, which was to be a cheaper alternative to Danskos, but found it didn't wear well and wasn't as supportive and comfortable. I saw the Olmec had a Vibram sole, so I figured it would wear a lot better, and so far it has. Olmec is also more supportive of my arches, therefore much more comfortable. Great shoe!
