Our endless summer essential now with highly evolved breathability for hiking or biking the trails. A lattice-like overlay of Dura leather strapping supports and protects while enhancing the open-window venting of the breathable mesh upper that is a Merrill mark. Full bumper protection at the toe and around the heel. Proven Vibram® Multi-Sport™ sole combines Trek and Super Trek rubber compounds for grip and durability.
Slip lasted construction. Dura leather/breathable Ventilator mesh upper. Breathable mesh lining.
Synthetic leather toe bumper/heel counter. Breathable Ventilator bellows tongue. 7.5mm narrow gauge webbing. 4.5mm anatomical footbed. Nylon 6.6 injection molded arch shank. Compression molded EVA footframe.
Air Cushion® midsole. 5mm sole lug depth. Vibram® Multi-Sport™ sole/trek & Super Trek rubber.

a great walking shoe

I didn't buy this shoe for any special reason, except I just needed a walking shoe. It's a relaxing shoe and is exceptionally comfortable. Your feet feel like they are cradled in a feather pillow. They also have the ability to breath in hot weather.
Wears this shoe: when i get cleaned up and out of my work clothes i relax in them

I was concerned when purchasing this shoe for my 36 year old son as a birthday gift that he would feel the style was not to his liking. He loved the style and the fit. As far as I know, he has not yet worn the shoe, but he said he definitely wanted to keep the shoe. I had purchased a Merrell shoe previously for my daughter who works in the medical profession and she has since purchased two more pairs. I think we will continue shopping the Merrell brand.
Wears this shoe: I bought it for my son to wear for work, but I think he plans on leisure.

I used these shoes on my trip to Europe. These were good for hiking however, for walking around the cities, it was a little too heavy. I wish I had chosen lighter shoes.

The Merrell Moab Ventilator is a very comfortable shoe, well constructed and will hopefully last as long as the pair they are replacing. The downside to Merrell is that they do not offer wide width shoes, so if you are considering a pair, try the next size larger if you need the width.

I like it! My feet are slightly different sizes. 10.5 Usually works for me, but in this case, I think I should have gotten size 11.
