The mid-height version of Merrell's endless summer essential is now an even better match for summer spritzers or downpours with the addition of an Aegis™ antimicrobial-treated GORE-TEX® XCR® lining to the GORE-TEX® construction of the leather-reinforced breathable mesh upper. Vibram® Multi-Sport Plus™ sole increases breaking power at the heel for more demanding terrain. Waterproof dura leather and breathable mesh upper. Rubber toe bumper and heel counter or synthetic on non-black colors. Breathable vented bellows tongue. 7.5mm narrow gauge webbing. Nylon 6.6 injection molded arch shank. Compression molded EVA footframe. Merrell Air Cushion® midsole. 5mm sole lug depth. Vibram® Multi-Sport™ sole.

Fit: This style tends to run large. For an accurate fit we recommend purchasing a 1/2 size smaller than you typically purchase. For example, if you normally purchase a size 7 1/2, we recommend purchasing a size 7.

I have had this shoe for six months now and I must say this has been the reason for making me a Merrell fan. This shoe has been very comfortable (no blisters ever !) and has the right stability for going on a rocky hike. I have done almost 10 day long hikes and the shoe and sole hold up very well. I just clean it with dry kitchen towel followed by kitchen towel with mild detergent and another dry run with kitchen towel and voila, it comes of as almost new even after all the dirt collection in the hike ! Looking forward to more hikes this.

I enjoy the styling and fit of this shoe and would have given it 5 stars if it weren't for what I consider a lack of support in the heel/arch.Please note, I am a heavy man (300lbs) and will be purchasing insoles to improve foot comfort.

I have had these shoes for roughly 2 months and am very pleased to date. I purchased these shoes as my every day winter shoes and am looking forward to see how they handle the wet weather next winter. Size wise they compare well to other Merrill products I have purchased previously.

I actually own 2 pair of these and looking at buying a third pair in the darker color. I have worn these in all sorts of environments including dry deserts of the SW, rain, and snow. I have worn them up in the Sierra Nevadas hiking and to walk on the beach in Orange County, Ca. My boots have been with me on excursions in the desert with Air Force EOD teams and have never failed me nor left me with tired sore feet. I love these boots. I have friends that are US Army Rangers who wear these in Afghanistan. They are a all around great boot and it will be a sad day if they are ever stopped being produced.
