The shoe looks like a great well-made shoe. I was looking for good support and light weight in a shoe for school and these shoes are both. I purchased them for school wear this winter so I don't know yet how they will wear.

Got these for my son before a trip to Venice, Italy - we'd be doing a ton of walking but anticipated wet weather, and he needed something comfortable yet waterproof. The wet weather never materialized but these were perfect - he's worn them all winter in New England to walk to school along snowy, half-shoveled paths. Expensive but worth it since I didn't need rain boots, and they don't slow down a very active kid the way that rain boots do.
