My husband likes this shoe. He says it is very comfortable as he stands most of the 8 hours he is at work. I bought it because I love the women's line of clogs/slides. His only wish is that the shoe was in leather instead of the brushed leather.

These are most comfortable shoes, ideal for casual days or even lounging about the house or driving somewhere. This goes for long road trips or sitting in your cubicle at work when you feel the need to remove your shoes, let the toe jam dry out, and share the sweet scent of your feet with the office. This combined with the convenience factor of not having to bend down to put your shoes on scores them a stellar 5 of 5 stars for my review. That's right folks, 5 of 5.The soles are well-cushioned and well made and the tread guarantees you won't slip on slick surfaces. As a matter of fact, the tread seems to be a mountain bike tire or something, and has good traction. In fact the tread extends up the sides of the shoe for those who like to traverse slippery surfaces using the sides of their feet rather than the bottom.The only caution with these shoes is to be aware that they feel somewhat like flip flops. The backs are not high enough to firmly grip your heel. So they tend to flop a little which takes some getting used to. If they are snug, this isn't much of an issue. But if too big, you'll find your toes gripping the sole so the shoes don't come off. This is the last thing you want when trudging into a public restroom.I normally wear size 11 shoes. Yet the size 11 of these shoes felt like 10s to me. They gripped my feet a little too tight. So I returned the size 11's and ordered a half size larger and these feel fine. So all's well that ends well. Highly recommended!

I enjoy wearing Merrells for all occasions but especially for comfort in the house. They are the first thing I change when returning home after a long day at work. I have tried other copies of Merrells but none have come close to the comfort I feel when I put on this shoe. At my age, that accounts for a lot. You can't go wrong with the original.
