I love this coat. It's warm, without the bulk. It has pit zips, rugged build quality, a nice hood sized for use with a helmet, sleeves that actually fit over gloves or mittens when it's really cold. High collar to protect your face, a snow skirt, sealed zippers, and classic styling. Sized so you can actually layer, if need be. Material purports to be waterproof, but without the stiffness of gortex. There are few things in life that are perfect, but this coat is real close. Customer service at Merrell was fantastic. The coats I have looked at, with the same specs, are 100's more. Congratulations to Merrell for a job well done.
