I purchased this men's sneaker/outdoor shoe knowing it was expensive. This is my third pair of Merrell shoes and I could not be happier. This Model is very form fitting at the toe (maybe due to the water proof/leather style). I like my shoes tight so it is fine but one may consider a 1/2 size bigger. This specific model is built like a tank, the best. It is made with the best stiching and is hands down the most comfortable sneaker/outdoor type shoe I have ever worn. My feet are suseptible to aches and pains easily when wearing regular sneakers no matter the quaility but NOT these babies. I could go hiking or wear them to the mall. They look real great, even on a 50 year old guy like me.
