Full grain leather easily slips on via a stretch collar, equipped with a waterproof membrane and fleece lining above and an ActiveHeat™ insole and cushioning below to keep you dry, warm, and climbing high even when the mercury's well below zero. This slip-on shoe has a full grain leather upper with a Lycra® and neoprene stretch collar for easy on and off, a protective rubber rand and toe cap, a waterproof and breathable membrane, a fleece lining with an Aegis® anti-microbial treatment, 200 grams of PrimaLoft® insulation, an Ortholite® anatomical footbed, an ActiveHeat™ insole with a silver reflective film, a molded nylon arch shank, a compression molded EVA footframe, a Merrell Air Cushion in the heel for shock absorption and stability, and a Merrell Boreal Sticky Rubber outsole with a 5 mm sole lug depth with surface siping.

I suffer from cold feet and am always looking for a light shoe that is well insulated. This shoe is closer than most but could still be better. For some reason Merrel quit making their Winter Moc which was as close as I have come to a light warm winter shoe.

I usually wear size 10 for laced shoes and 9.5 for slip ons so buying the Merrell Innsbruck in size 9.5 was perfect.

It fit from the first try on, and I have never had a more comfortable shoe ever. For cooler weather and true winter comfort with simple socks, this shoe is it. I bought a black pair as well.
Wears this shoe: 3 seasons, but a great shoe for wet weather.

This is a nice looking shoe and serves its purpose of a warm, waterproof walking around shoe. I will say that there is not a lot of breathing ability so your feet do get quite warm. Also, fit is snug with socks and would be very snug with heavy socks.
Wears this shoe: Cold and wet days mostly
