I have had this shoe for a year. It still is not broken in. The leather is very stiff and uncomfortable. The shoe is built well but not the best for hiking and I am a experienced hiker. The leather does not flex enough and rubs around the ankles. The shoes cannot be laced tight around the ankles to keep debris from getting in. The leather is just too stiff. I am very disappointed.

I really like this shoe! My only issue is that they are really hard to get on my son's feet, even with a shoe horn. Once they are on, they are great for winter weather!

I have bought so many pairs of this shoe over the years, I don't know what I will do if it is discontinued. I rated that the shoe felt larger and wider only because I have a wide foot and this shoe's B width fits fine; same as for length. Shoe is flattering to the foot, provides outstanding support and comfort. I stand on tile at work and wear this shoe daily.

Excellent shoe. Order a smaller size because it runs larger. I wear an 8 1/2 and ordered an 8 an shoe fit me perfectly. So comfortable and have no foot pain when wearing them. Really happy with purchase. Always looking for the perfect shoe and this one comes very close.
