Merrell Mimosa Emme|
Comfortable but didnt hold up

I rarely buy shoes that cost this much money. These, however, were worth the price for the comfort and they accommodated my orthotics very well. Within three months of light wear, because I alternate my shoes and don't wear the same pair every day, about two inches on the righthand side split out right at the sole. Bummer. I'd order another pair but I'm afraid of the same result. Shoes that cost half that amount of money hang around my closet for years (if I don't get sick and tired of them first - LOL).

Not a Heather

I am a true Merrell fan; these sandals are comfortable to wear and cute. However they are much lighter and not as sturdy as my favorite "Heather" which I adore has been discontinued:( Hoping they last as long.

It seems that each manufacturer uses a standard foot configuration to mold their footbed. I have never found a Merrell shoe that didn't fit my foot perfectly. I've tried other brands, but Merrells' are perfect. Different styles within the Merrell brand fit somewhat differently, but if you've ever tried a Merrell and it fits your foot, you'll never need to look somewhere else. BTW: they wear like iron. I've got 6 year old Merrells that still support my foot comfortabally.
